Any season is football season in America! Participants will work on the overhand throw, catching, and play in thrilling games. To prepare for games, participants will practice basic offensive routes and defensive coverages. Early elementary kids will enjoy fun lead up games like scarf tag. The plan is for participants to experience a NFL playoff style tournament with a Super Bowl!

In our STEAM-based arts & crafts program, we blend education and fun like a perfect recipe! We focus on creating innovative crafts that can work and move, like rockets that can shoot, instruments that make music, and cars that can move. Activities are based on STEAM-principles and teach kids important problem-solving and developmental skills.  Students should pack a snack, if desired.

Students will study famous artists in a variety of genres and then create their own masterpieces based on the lesson. We will use acrylic paint, watercolor paint, and oil pastels during this session. Students who join Art-Smart as 4th graders and continue attending each class through 6th grade, will ultimately learn ~30 different art history lessons and create ~30 unique projects. Note: There will be only four classes per session.
