The PTA provides academic enrichment programs to supplement the regular school curriculum, including activities in areas such as Art, STEM, Literacy, Healthy Lifestyles, Digital Citizenship. We also organize after-school activities and assemblies for the students.
The PTA hosts many fun-filled family gatherings and events throughout the year, including annual events such as movie night, bingo, carnival, dances, volleyball, etc. Each year, there are unique events added as well (e.g., Magic Show, Paint Nite, Game Night, etc.)
The PTA is 100% volunteer-run and 100% supported by donations and fundraisers. We host a variety of fundraisers throughout the year to raise the money necessary to support the school, including a silent auction, spirit wear, yearbooks, book fair, holiday market, spirit nights, etc.
In addition to providing direct programming for CES students, the PTA provides financial support to the school to help cover the cost of student materials, field trips, educational programs, class funds, teacher supplies, and teacher and staff appreciation.

The PTA officers meet regularly throughout the year and oversee the many activities and programs happening at CES throughout the year.
Each spring, the Nominations Committee will recruit potential candidates for the Officer positions for the upcoming school year. Only members whose individual dues are paid for the current fiscal year shall be eligible to hold office and to serve on the executive committee, executive board, standing, or special committees, or to serve as a delegate or alternate to the council. Elected officers serve for a term of one (1) year or until their successors are elected. No person shall hold more than one (1) elected office at a time. No Officer shall serve more than three (3) consecutive terms, unless the office has been deemed VACANT by the Nominations Committee, and there are no nominations from the floor. No Officer shall exceed four (4) years in the same office.

📄 Teacher & Staff Grant Request Form
The Centreville Elementary PTA Teacher & Staff Grant Program supports student learning by meeting the needs of teachers and staff. The PTA funds up to $100 per year to faculty and staff members for unique or innovative programs or resources, collaborations between teachers, instructional materials, and more.
The PTA will not fund items already in the school budget.
All requests must directly benefit the students at Centreville Elementary School.
Any materials purchased with PTA funds are considered to be property of Centreville Elementary School; they must remain at the school if the requestor should ever leave.
Approval by the Principal must be obtained prior to submitting a grant request.
The PTA Executive Committee will review the request and notify you of its final decision. Once approved, you will need to submit an Expense Reimbursement Form along with any receipts to substantiate the purchase.

Step 2: Once approved, make your purchase.
Step 3: Submit an Expense Reimbursement Form along with any receipts from your purchase to receive reimbursement. You can submit via email to finance@centrevillepta.org or you can leave in the Treasurer's mailbox in the main office.
