Dear CES Families,
Welcome back! We are excited for the upcoming school year! On behalf of the Centreville Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), we want to extend a warm welcome to both new and returning families. As we head into this new school year, we are filled with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to supporting our students and school community.
The PTA plays a crucial role in fostering a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the school administration. We are dedicated to creating an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our goal is to work collaboratively to enhance the educational experience for all students and provide resources that promote their growth and success.
Here are a few highlights of what you can expect from the PTA this school year:
Family Engagement Events: We have an exciting lineup of events planned throughout the year. These events provide opportunities for families to come together, build relationships, and learn from each other.
Supporting Teachers: Our PTA is committed to supporting our incredible teaching staff. Through various initiatives, we aim to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication in shaping the minds of our children.
Community Building: We believe in the strength of our school community. Our PTA fosters a sense of belonging by encouraging parent involvement open communication, and a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Fundraising: The funds raised through our PTA efforts directly contribute to enhancing the educational experience of our students. From classroom resources to extracurricular activities, your support makes a significant impact.
Advocacy: The PTA serves as a voice for parents and advocates for the needs of our students. We work closely with the school administration to ensure that our children receive the best education possible.
We invite you to join us in making a positive difference in the lives of our students. Whether you can volunteer your time, share your expertise, or attend our events, your involvement is greatly valued. Together, we can create an inclusive and supportive community that empowers our children to reach their full potential. As an added incentive, the class with the highest percentage of PTA membership on September 30th will win a pizza party!
THIS FRIDAY, 8/25 - Come join us for our Welcome Back Picnic in the back of the school. We will have food, music, entertainment, and dozens of vendors available, including community organizations, kids activities, and local businesses.
Thursday, 8/31 - We will host our first Restaurant Night of the year at Red Robin in Fair Lakes. Plan to eat out (or carryout!) at Red Robin on Thursday and 20% of the sales will come back to the PTA. Click here for more information.
Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming PTA meetings and events. Follow us on social media or check out our website to get up-to-date information on all things PTA. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions, suggestions, or ideas. We are here to listen and work together for the betterment of our school community.
