How Do I Volunteer?

Getting involved is easy!

Because of the size of the national PTA, we are able to partner with businesses and negotiate special discounts, fundraising opportunities, and other valuable benefits exclusively for PTA members. When you make purchases from these companies, not only will you receive a discount, but National PTA will also receive a percentage of royalties from the sale.

Volunteering as part of the PTA not only benefits the school, but it also benefits your child. When your child sees your involvement in the school, your child will see the importance you place in education.

There are many ways to help the students and staff at CES. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the many Programs, Events, and Committees at the school, but recognize that sometimes, your time during the day is limited. Therefore, along with our many day time volunteer opportunities, we also have evening/weekend options to consider contributing your time/talent to, as well as opportunities to help raise much needed funds for the school and our programs.

Please take some time to review the volunteer opportunities available. Along with a brief description of each activity, program, or event, we provide points of contact in case you are interested in joining the fun.

How do I volunteer?

If you are interested in volunteering, there are several ways you can get started:

1. Go to the Volunteer Opportunities link for a listing of all committees, events, and activities for specific contact information. From that list, you can contact the Chairperson directly.
2. Go to the Fundraising Opportunities link for a listing of our fundraising activities. This link provides details on all the programs we currently have to help raise much needed funds to support our programs and activities.
3. Email our PTA Volunteer Coordinator at VolunteerCoordinator@centrevillepta.org. If you are unsure how to start volunteering, the coordinator can talk to you about various volunteer opportunities at the school, and get you started by connecting you to volunteering opportunities of interest to you.
4. Email the PTA Board at ptaboard@centrevillepta.org.
