Volunteer for Events
Volunteering as part of the PTA not only benefits the school, but it also benefits your child. When your child sees your involvement in the school, your child sees the importance you place in his/her education. It's wonderful to see the smiles on children's faces as they see family members volunteer in their classrooms, at the school, and during the many events the PTA hosts. Visit the "Help Out!" tab for the many volunteer opportunities available.

Walk to School Week
Chair: Krista Jastrzembski
CES participates in the International Walk to School Week. The purpose of this week is to give a "pat on the back" to kids who already walk to school as well as to encourage kiss-n-ride students who live within walking distance to walk at least occasionally. With obesity rates skyrocketing and only one-quarter of Americans able to get the Surgeon General's recommended daily dose of exercise (just 30 minutes), it's an ideal time to encourage children to walk to school for their own health and well-being. To participate in Walk to School week activities, please contact the Chairperson.
