PTA Coordinators
The PTA is always in need of helping hands, to oversee miscellaneous tasks that make our PTA successful. Coordinators communicate between our school and community (i.e. Webmaster, Newsletter Editor, etc). These are great for parents who work during the day. Assemblies Coordinator
Coordinator: Angie Venetsanos
Working with CES Administrators, the Assemblies Coordinator identifies fun, educational assemblies to bring into the school each year. If you have an idea for an assembly, or would like to help with this effort, please contact the Chair.
Bus Lobby Bulletin Board Coordinator
Coordinator: Stefanie Ragano
Ensures the bulletin board in the bus lobby contains up to date information on upcoming activities and programs that are sponsored by the PTA.
Newsletter Editor (Eagle's Nest)
Editor: Melissa Coughlin
Publishes monthly PTA Newsletter. Coordinates publishing deadlines with committee chairs and CES staff. Oversees copying and distribution of the newsletter. The Eagle’s Nest contains calendar and upcoming event information, as well as other PTA news and reports from PTA meetings.
Picture Day Coordinator
Coordinator: Maria Stewart
In both the Fall and Spring, Chairperson coordinates with school staff and Splendid Photographers to facilitate taking school pictures of all the students and classrooms. Organizes parent volunteers to help Splendid Photographers
Room Parent Coordinator
Coordinator: Karyn Cram
Provides information to prospective, and new, room parents re responsibilities involved. Updates and published Room Parent Handbook (found in Forms and Materials tab).
School Directory Editor
Coordinator: Maria Stewart
The PTA publishes a student directory every fall. The directory contains contact information for students and their families. It is free with your PTA membership. Volunteers are welcome to help solicit businesses for ads to offset printing costs.
Volunteer Coordinator
Coordinator: Stefanie Ragano
Recruits volunteers throughout the school year with the Volunteer Interest Form. Maintains spreadsheet of volunteer information and provides volunteer information to Committee chairs in advance of events and programs.
Webmaster
Webmaster: Paul Taylor
The PTA website contains valuable information on PTA sponsored activities and programs. It also contains a wealth of information and resources for our school families. You can view the latest calendar or event information, as well as, copies of the PTA newsletter and the approved meeting minutes. The site is regularly updated.
Welcome Walk Mapping Coordinator
Coordinator: Lynne Ward
puts together maps for the annual welcome walks that introduce the teachers and their students. This activity takes place the last week of August each year.
