Annual Fundraising Opportunities

Original Works

The PTA is excited to bring the Original Works program to CES. This program gives parents the opportunity to purchase a variety of products imprinted with designs created by their children. These products make great gifts. The children's artwork is created in class with help from the Art teachers. Once the artwork is completed the PTA assembles a package for each student. The package includes the child's artwork, an order form, and full color brochure listing the products available for sale.

These packages are then sent home for preview prior to ordering. Families wishing to purchase items showcasing their children’s very own artwork complete the order form and return it to the school with their payment and the original artwork.

Program details will be sent home in October, with products available prior to the winter holidays.

R.E.A.C.H. Week

(Reading Education Awareness in the Child's Home) – The PTA will sponsor our second annual REACH week in late winter. Students are encouraged to read, both at home and during school, for a designated week in January. Our reading goal for REACH week is 1,000,000 minutes!

Details will come home before the winter holidays. Check back for more information as the date approaches!

Spring Carnival

The CES Carnival is an annual family event at CES that generally occurs on a Saturday in the Spring. It is a wonderful day filled with games and activities for all ages, delicious food, prizes and a silent auction offering "themed" baskets from each of our wonderful CES classes. The games and activities include moon bounces, a cake walk, the ever popular soda toss, and many more. Come hungry, lunch is served beginning at 11:30. There is usually pizza, chicken, soda, chips, and cookies. There is also fresh popped popcorn and cotton candy. Not only is this a wonderful family event, but it also raises much needed funds for the PTA.

Please contact the Chairs for more information, or if you would like to help out: Karyn Cram and Peter Sursi.

Book Fairs

The PTA sponsors two book fairs during each school year, one in the fall and one in the Spring. The profits from the fall book fair go directly to CES; while the profits from the Spring book fair come directly to PTA. These are great opportunities to increase and replenish your at-home libraries.

Please contact the Chairs for more information, or if you would like to help out: Deb Smith and Susie Collier.

Spirit Wear

CES logo’d items to encourage and celebrate school spirit. These items are usually displayed for sale during PTA events.
